MSC Cruises has announced details of its new Mediterranean itineraries for summer 2017, its Antilles itineraries for winter 2017-2018, and its Caribbean itineraries between December 2017 and May 2018.
Itineraries through the Mediterranean
Starting in April 2017, MSC Cruises will add a new destination to its Eastern Mediterranean itineraries, becoming the first cruise line in the world to call weekly at the port of Saranda, Albania, with MSC Poesia. Travelers embarking in Venice will have the opportunity to discover this city thanks to the adapted itinerary, with 7 destinations in 7 days and stops in Bari (Italy), Katakolon, Olympia, Athens, Mykonos - the jewel of the Cyclades - and Dubrovnik (Croatia).
In contrast, MSC Orchestra passengers will be able to experience cities such as Genoa, Marseille, Barcelona and Civitavecchia and will be able to sail to destinations including Valencia, Malaga, the Canary Islands, Madeira, Malta, the Greek Islands of Corfu and Crete or Messina and Livorno, Italy.
Itineraries through the Antilles
MSC Fantasia will depart from Martinique and Guadeloupe with two distinct itineraries that can be combined: one exploring the Antilles with stops in St. Maarten, Tortola, the new port of Kingstown (St. Vincent and the Grenadines) – replacing La Romana – St. Kitts and Nevis, and finally, Antigua and Barbuda. The second will explore the pearls of the Southern Caribbean, including St. Lucia, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada, and Dominica.
Itineraries through the Caribbean
- Eastern Caribbean: With a 7-night itinerary, MSC Seaside will dock in Philipsburg (St. Maarten), San Juan (Puerto Rico) and Nassau (Bahamas) instead of Charlotte Amalie (St. Thomas), Nassau and Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve
- Western Caribbean: With a 7-night itinerary through the Cayman Islands, Jamaica and Mexico, the MSC Seaside will stop in Nassau (Bahamas) instead of Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve.
- It is worth noting that MSC Divina, on its 10-11 night itineraries in Panama or the Antilles, will now dock in Nassau or Freeport (Bahamas), Fort de France (Martinique) and San Juan (Puerto Rico) instead of Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve.
- Northern Caribbean: MSC Opera, after two and a half days in Havana, will include a Caribbean experience on the Isle of Youth (Cuba), and will sail to Montego Bay (Jamaica), Georgetown (Cayman Islands) before returning to the Cuban capital.
