The “Aida Aura” has docked in the port of Ferrol, arriving from Le Havre. The ship is carrying 1,800 passengers and crew. The “Aida Aura”, built in 2003, has 12 decks and is a sister ship to the “Aida Sol”.
As this was the first visit of the “Aida Aura” to Ferrol, the president of the APFSC, José Manuel Vilariño, presented a plaque to the ship's captain, Sven Laudan, as a memento of his stay in our city.
The “Black Watch”, arriving from Avilés with 1,100 people on board, is also scheduled to stop. This ship, built in Finland, has been in service since 1972 and has been operated by the Fred Olsen shipping company for the last two decades.
The “Black Watch” is a sister ship to the “Boudicca”, which visited us on Monday, and to a third ship, the “Albatros”, which is currently operated by the German company Phoenix Reisen.
