The Port Authorities of Malaga and Santa Cruz de Tenerife will work specifically to promote Atlantic cruise routes that have both ports as their starting point, thus encouraging this traffic in their facilities and promoting its deseasonalization, that is, extending the campaign to twelve months of the year.
To this end, the heads of both ports, Ricardo Melchior and Paulino Plata, signed the corresponding collaboration agreement through which they commit to developing common and specific products and proposals of interest to shipping companies, as well as involving the tourism promotion institutions of their respective autonomous communities.
Both the port of Malaga and the port of Tenerife offer quality facilities to operate as a home port, and are also perfectly aware of the dynamics of the sector that has led them to become leading ports in this traffic on their respective maritime fronts.
