A total of 10,466 people, including passengers and crew, have arrived at the Port of Cadiz aboard three cruise ships: Azura, Aurora and MeinSchiff 5, the latter on its first stop.
The Azura, 289 meters long, docked at the Alfonso XIII pier, arriving from Southampton with 3,026 passengers and 1,174 crew members. Shortly after, the Aurora, 270 meters long, also from Southampton, arrived to berth at the Marqués de Comillas pier with 1,830 cruise passengers and 814 crew members on board.
The MeinSchiff 5 also arrived for the first time at the Port of Cádiz , coming from Lisbon with 2,585 tourists and 1,037 crew members on board. To mark this inaugural visit, the Port Authority, as is customary, presented the ship's captain with a commemorative plaque.
It is worth remembering that during the months of September and October there are 44 and 49 cruise ship calls announced respectively and that on September 15th there were 4 ships coinciding, a milestone that will be repeated on October 6th and that will be surpassed with five cruise ships on October 24th.
The arrival of these three cruise ships also coincides with the opening today in Tenerife of the most important cruise fair in Europe, SeatradeCruiseMed.
