Costa Cruises has announced the addition of two exclusive and innovative itineraries for the upcoming 2017 season. Two unique cruises created for lovers of the beaches and sun of the Mediterranean.
The first is a week-long itinerary aboard the Costa neoClassica (53,000 tons and capacity for 1,680 passengers), available from May 13 to September 23, 2017. This cruise departs every Saturday from Bari, exploring the hidden gems of the Greek Islands. Guests will visit Corfu, Crete (Heraklion), Santorini (where the ship will make an extended stop until midnight), and finally Mykonos, where the ship will spend the night, allowing travelers ample time to enjoy the beaches and experience the vibrant local nightlife.
The second itinerary is an 8-day cruise aboard the Costa neoRiviera (48,200 tons and capacity for 1,727 passengers), available from June 2nd to September 22nd, 2017, departing every Friday from Tarragona to discover the most popular destinations in the Western Mediterranean. This cruise will stop at a different port each day. The first stop is in Savona, followed by a visit to Porto Torres, gateway to some of the destinations in northwest Sardinia, such as the beaches of Stintino or the historic city of Alghero. After Sardinia, the cruise will allow guests to explore the Balearic Islands in depth, starting with Menorca, then Ibiza – where the ship will depart in the early hours so passengers can visit the island of Formentera or enjoy Ibiza's nightlife – and ending in Palma de Mallorca, before returning to the port of Tarragona, a UNESCO World Heritage city.
