Two of the finest ships in its fleet, the Costa Diadema and the Costa Fascinosa, offer weekly departures from the Balearic capital, with itineraries through the Western Mediterranean. Along with these two flagship vessels, the Costa Magica also docked in Palma today.
For added convenience, the shipping company offers residents of the Balearic Islands the option of flying to Barcelona and Madrid for air connectivity to the embarkation ports of some of the most popular cruises among Spaniards in Northern Europe and the Adriatic and Aegean.
Palma de Mallorca has experienced a rare milestone: the triple port call of Costa Cruises ships. The Costa Diadema, Costa Fascinosa, and Costa Magica all docked at Palma's port facilities as part of their respective Mediterranean itineraries and as a demonstration of the cruise line's commitment to the capital and the Balearic market. The three ships are bringing more than 10,000 passengers to the Balearic capital.
Taking advantage of the occasion, and continuing its promotional activities in major Spanish cities, Costa Cruises brought together more than 30 travel agents and media representatives from Palma de Mallorca aboard the Costa Diadema, its flagship vessel, to present the key features of its new 'Felicità al Quadrato' campaign. With this campaign, the company once again demonstrates its commitment to continuously improving and enhancing its onboard and shore offerings to double the happiness of its guests. Examples of this include the gala menu created by Bruno Barbieri, the Italian chef with seven Michelin stars, Peppa Pig entertainment for children, and the 'The Voice of the Sea' competition, designed to provide the whole family with a fantastic and unique experience.
Furthermore, as an example of Costa's strong commitment to cruise passengers in the Balearic Islands, the company's sales representatives highlighted the embarkation services from the port of Palma during their presentation. Throughout the year, the Costa Diadema, the cruise line's flagship, and the Costa Fascinosa, another of its top vessels, offer weekly departures from the Balearic capital. Both ships sail enticing itineraries through the Western Mediterranean, stopping at some of the most important tourist and historical cities along the Mediterranean coast.
Travel agents attending the presentation also learned about the various connectivity options Costa offers for passengers wishing to cruise Northern Europe, exploring the Norwegian coast and its fjords or the main cities of the Baltic Sea, as well as itineraries in the Adriatic and Aegean Seas. These itineraries are fully tailored to Spanish customers during the summer months aboard the Costa neoRiviera. Costa provides its clients with access to the main embarkation ports via connecting flights from Barcelona and Madrid.
Finally, during the meeting with distribution partners and journalists, Costa Cruises highlighted its commitment to the Balearic Islands. In addition to Palma de Mallorca, the cruise line includes stops in other cities such as Ibiza, with the Costa Fascinosa's summer itineraries featuring a longer stopover that allows cruisers to experience the White Isle both day and night. In fact, Costa has maintained and continues to maintain its commitment to the Balearic Islands, which welcomed over 460,000 passengers aboard its ships last year, and similar figures are expected this year.
