MedCruise and Princess Cruises have decided to create a joint project to improve and develop the close relationship and collaboration that unites them.
Following the guidelines set by the interesting proposal of Bruce Krumrine, Vice-President of Shore Excursions at Holland America Group, the two partners are working together with a dual objective: to create the best cruise experience and to increase the demand for cruises in the Mediterranean.
This agreement gives 17 MedCruise member ports the opportunity to be promoted and trained thanks to the Holland America Group initiative.
There are ten initiatives that have been developed in this context: welcome videos for passengers, expert presentation videos, talks, exclusive experiences in all ports, new itineraries and infrastructure, tourist guides, experiences both on arrival and departure from port, exhibitions and sale of the works of different local artists, marketing and public relations actions and film projects.
The first phase of the project, which was completed in Barcelona in the second week of February, showed how the MedCruise member ports and partners used the Mediterranean style employed by Princess Cruises to create a series of videos that narrated the experiences and beautiful landscapes that passengers could discover in the different ports and destinations.
The project will continue, involving more MedCruise member ports and developing further initiatives.
