Silvesea is delighted to welcome renowned artist Alexandre Renoir and two Relais & Châteaux chefs, Erik Arnecke and Fabio Pisani, who will participate in the enrichment program aboard the Silver Spirit. The ship will depart from Rome on November 2nd and embark on a 7-day voyage to Barcelona. This special "Farewell Mediterranean" journey celebrates the culmination of a fantastic season in the Mediterranean.
Contemporary Impressionist painter Alexandre Renoir, great-grandson of the French Impressionist painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir, will be on board to give lectures on the life of his famous ancestor and demonstrate his artistic talent. This unique voyage includes an overnight stay in Livorno, gateway to the artistic treasures of Florence, as well as stops in Monte Carlo, Marseille, Mahón, and Palma de Mallorca. During the visit to Monte Carlo, Alexandre Renoir will lead an exclusive, optional excursion to Cagnes-sur-Mer, the estate of Pierre-Auguste Renoir, where he spent the last years of his life.
The Silver Spirit will also feature renowned chefs Erik Arnecke of the Michelin-starred Philipp Soldán restaurant, located in the Die Sonne Frankenberg hotel, and Fabio Pisani, head chef of the two-Michelin-starred Il Luogo di Aimo e Nadia. Both restaurants hold the prestigious Relais & Châteaux designation. Their extraordinary culinary talents will come together to present an unprecedented program of demonstrations and gourmet dinners.

Also noteworthy is a program of demonstrations and specialized workshops as well as lively cooking competitions led by trainer David Bilslan, who oversees L'École des Chefs de Silversea, the only Relaix & Châcheaux cooking school at sea.
In addition, the Comitato Grandi Cru d'Italia, an association of Italy's leading wine producers, has selected some of the finest vintages for Silversea guests to discover the best of Italian wine. Award-winning sommelier Gennro Buono, from Rome's two-Michelin-starred restaurant Il Pagliaccio and also a member of Relais & Châteaux, will guide guests through the secrets of these wines.
