Norwegian Cruise Line offers greater freedom and flexibility in its dining packages, giving guests the opportunity to tailor them to their needs.
Norwegian Cruise Line this week unveiled its new Specialty Dining Package, giving guests the freedom to enjoy a wide variety of flavors and unique experiences at the company's specialty restaurants, along with the flexibility to choose the number of nights they wish to dine at a fixed price. Norwegian Cruise Line guests sailing on any ship in the fleet beginning August 7 can purchase a Specialty Dining Package that includes a minimum of three days up to the total duration of their cruise.
Guests who opt for Norwegian Cruise Line's specialty dining package can choose from rare-medium cooked dishes at Cagney's, the in-house steakhouse; al dente at La Cucina, Norwegian's Italian restaurant; savor an exquisite Parisian-style dinner at Le Bistro; or enjoy a fun experience at Teppanyaki, a Japanese hibachi-style restaurant.
Thanks to Norwegian's Freestyle Cruising and the new specialty dining package, guests can choose how, when, and where they want to dine, with the freedom to discover a different specialty restaurant each night or find their favorite to dine at several nights during their vacation. Guests choosing a 7-night cruise can select from packages ranging from three to seven nights, making the most of their vacation experience by taking advantage of a discount compared to the sum of the individual specialty restaurant fees.
Specialty dining packages are valid at all steakhouses, Brazilian churrascarias, hibachi-style Japanese restaurants, and Italian restaurants. Norwegian Cruise Line guests who have selected a specialty dining package also have the flexibility to enjoy select à la carte restaurants and entertainment venues for a small additional fee, including:
- Ocean Blue (Norwegian Getaway/Norwegian Breakaway): $15
- CirqueDreams (Norwegian Breakaway/Norwegian Epic): $10 general admission seats/$15 preferred seating/$35 VIP seats on the Norwegian Breakaway
- The Illusionarium (Norwegian Getaway): $10 general admission seats / $15 premium seats
- For the Record: Dear John Hughes (Norwegian Escape): $15
- Bayamo (Norwegian Escape): $10
- Pincho Tapas Bar (Norwegian Escape): $7
- The Raw Bar (Norwegian Getaway/Norwegian Breakaway): $7

Specialty dining packages can be purchased before embarkation for even greater savings, or onboard during the first two days of your cruise (on the first day for 3-night cruises). Guests who have purchased their specialty dining package before their cruise departure can make their dining reservations online up to 90 days prior to their cruise departure date, or they can choose to go Freestyle and decide when and where they want to dine once onboard. Specialty dining packages are purchased individually, and those traveling in the same stateroom do not need to purchase packages as a group.
