Veteran cruise industry executives Bruce Setloff and Claudius Dočekal, who recently worked with Azamara Club Cruises, have joined the growing team at Crystal Cruises, Seatrade Cruise News confirmed.
Setloff has been appointed Vice President of global charters and special projects for Cristal Cruises, and Docekal has become Vice President of deployment
Both worked in Azamara for more than five years.
There, Setloff oversaw global charters and incentive sales, while Docekal recently served as deployment director in the area of destinations and charter sales.
Larry Pimentel, president and CEO of Azamara, stated that there is a job opening for Setloff's position, and Docekal's replacement will be announced soon.
Meanwhile, day-to-day business is being handled by Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.'s global deployment group, under the direction of Bert van Middendorp's Azamara and hotel operations avp, of which Docekal was the head.
Pimentel added that all of Azamara's 2017 deployments are available online and in print. The 2018 deployments are currently being reviewed and will be uploaded in the third quarter.
