UK-based cruise operator Cruise & Maritime Voyages (CMV) has announced a new itinerary for the 550-passenger Azores for summer 2016 that will include destinations in France under the name Rivages du Monde.
Cruise & Maritime Voyages also announced that the Azores will be renamed Astoria after its 2015 UK summer season. Prior to the start of its 2016 French, Adriatic, and Mediterranean summer itineraries, Astoria will operate a two-month UK spring season.
In 2016, the Astoria will begin its French itinerary on May 11th under the Rivages du Monde brand as a domestic market product, operating 14 cruises across Northern Europe, Greenland, the Adriatic, and the Mediterranean, calling at Le Havre, Dunkirk, Ostend, Bordeaux, and Marseille. The CMV summer 2016 program will go on sale next month.
