Disney has announced its agreement with the River Cruise company AmaWaterways to offer Disney River Cruises in 2016.
These cruises will be specially focused and designed for families, something quite uncommon in the current river cruise. Therefore, they will take place aboard a new AmaWaterways vessel equipped with cabins that can accommodate up to 5 passengers.
The cruises will last 7 nights and will follow itineraries along the Danube, between Budapest in Hungary and Vilshofen in Germany.
According to Ken Potrock, the director in charge of this new Disney project, this is an important opportunity to develop a new niche in the cruise industry.
