Engaged couples who dream of exchanging vows while sailing into the sunset can now do so aboard Norwegian Cruise Line. The company has announced that it will begin offering legally recognized weddings at sea, officiated by the ship's captain, starting this month on the Norwegian Breakaway and Norwegian Getaway, and on the Norwegian Escape upon its launch this fall.
The Wedding at Sea package includes everything a couple could wish for to celebrate their marriage, from the bride's bouquet and matching boutonniere to a champagne toast, wedding cake, and much more, plus an expert wedding planner to assist every step of the way during the planning process. Once on board, couples can enjoy their big day stress-free, as the onboard wedding planners will take care of all the details so the happy couple can relax and enjoy their special day. Onboard ceremonies will be officiated by the ship's captain, and the marriage license will be issued in the Bahamas.
