Explora Journeys presents its first voyage with President Anna Nash aboard EXPLORA II, from December 9 to 16, 2026. Designed by Anna herself, the voyage will bring together guests who are already familiar with the brand and those who will discover it for the first time in a unique experience focused on connection, dialogue, and the Ocean State of Mind.
Part of Explora Journeys' 2026-2027 winter travel collection, "The Serenity of the Mediterranean," this voyage offers a more personal perspective on sea travel. The onboard and onshore experiences reflect Anna's vision, honed over two decades of experience in the luxury travel industry.
“For me, hospitality begins with listening. It’s about taking the time to understand what our guests value, what inspires them, and how they envision their future journeys with us,” said Anna. “This is the first time I’ve had the opportunity to share a journey with our guests, and I’m really looking forward to talking with them, listening to their feedback, and hearing their opinions firsthand. Much of my career has been outside the cruise industry, which gives me a different perspective on the guest experience and what luxury hospitality at sea can offer. Ultimately, it’s these conversations and the time we spend with our guests that help us continue to evolve Explora Journeys.”.
Throughout the trip, guests will have the opportunity to share informal moments with Anna, whether during morning walks or intimate dinners. The journey will also provide a space for dialogue. Through conversations with Anna and members of the Explora Journeys management team, guests will be invited to share their perspectives on the experiences they value most.
Listening is central to the evolution of Explora Journeys. These conversations will allow guests to get to know the people and ideas shaping the brand's future, while also giving the management team the opportunity to hear firsthand what matters most to guests today.
Exclusive experiences
In Gibraltar, a specially curated destination experience will offer privileged access to some of the territory's most significant historical sites. Following a panoramic tour of Gibraltar and a visit to its famous World War II tunnels, guests will discover "The Convent," the historic official residence of the Governor of Gibraltar.
The journey continues to Casablanca, where an overnight stopover will allow guests to discover the city at a more leisurely pace. In the evening, a complimentary destination experience specially designed at the iconic Royal Mansour Casablanca will reunite guests with Anna for an elegant cocktail reception in an intimate setting with limited seating. The following day will offer time to explore the city independently.
The onboard enrichment program will feature Lewis Pugh, UN Patron of the Oceans and multi-world record-holding endurance swimmer, who will share his vision on ocean exploration and conservation. Also participating will be Annabel Croft, former British number one tennis player, renowned sports commentator, and television presenter, who will offer a unique perspective based on her background in elite sport and media. They will be joined by Matt Barbet, presenter and journalist, who will contribute his expertise in storytelling and current affairs, and Gail Packer, a destination and ocean travel expert, who will share the knowledge gained throughout her extensive career in this field. Together, these Luminaries will enrich the onboard experience with inspiring conversations and diverse perspectives on the world. Explora Club members will enjoy special recognition and priority access to select experiences, along with a program of limited-capacity events and exclusive invitation-only gatherings encompassing destination, wellness, and culinary offerings.
The trip with the president is part of “The serenity of the Mediterranean”, Explora Journeys’ 2026-2027 winter travel collection, with departures between November 2026 and March 2027.
When the summer crowds disperse, the Mediterranean takes on a different rhythm, with softer light, quieter streets, and encounters that invite you to pause and savor. Throughout the collection, guests can discover destinations through experiences rooted in local culture, heritage, gastronomy, and craftsmanship, from Sicily and Tunisia to the Greek islands, the Iberian Peninsula, and the Atlantic coast.
In addition to the trip with the president, the collection incorporates a wider selection of shorter trips, including four- and five-night getaways, offering greater flexibility while maintaining the same Ocean State of Mind.
