Royal Caribbean has unveiled its 2028 Alaska program, offering more ways for vacationers to experience the beauty of the Last Frontier aboard Anthem, the newly expanded Ovation, Serenade , and Voyager of the Seas, beginning in April 2028. Adventurers can explore Alaska’s majestic glaciers, diverse wildlife, and coastal communities on seven-night vacations from Seattle, Seward, and Vancouver, with options to extend their trip with multi-night Cruisetours land-based experiences. 2028 Alaska vacations are available to book now on the Royal Caribbean website for Crown & Anchor Society members, ahead of the official launch on Thursday, October 1.

Royal Caribbean unveils its Alaska cruise program for 2028From visiting the Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau and exploring the historic charm of Skagway to enjoying the rugged scenery of Icy Strait Point, adventurers can discover the state's incredible wildlife, rich heritage, and breathtaking landscapes on daring vacations for all ages. Guests can enjoy panoramic views of glaciers, mountains, and fjords from the North Star glass observation pod at Anthem and Ovation, while enjoying experiences between destinations, such as the RipCord by iFly skydiving simulator, bumper cars, and rollerblading at SeaPlex, and live entertainment at the Royal Theater and Music Hall.

 The highlights of the 2028 Alaska vacation 

  • Anthem of the Seas – From Seward and Vancouver

From May to September, Anthem will combine Alaska's iconic coastline with immersive inland experiences on seven-night vacations and two- to six-night Cruisetours that extend the trip before or after the holidays, including adventures in Denali National Park. Vacationers can marvel at one of Alaska's most spectacular natural wonders at the Hubbard Glacier and explore Ketchikan for fishing, kayaking, hiking, and ziplining in the forest. Onboard, travelers can enjoy panoramic views from the North Star observation pod, action-packed experiences at SeaPlex —the largest indoor activity space at sea—and refuel at Jamie's Italian for familiar Tuscan dishes and Johnny Rockets for American classics.

  • Ovation of the Seas – From Seattle

The newly expanded Ovation will take vacationers to the natural wonders of Alaska on seven-night adventures from Seattle between May and September. Vacationers can discover the lush landscapes and rich heritage of Sitka, Skagway, and Juneau, along with the breathtaking waterfalls, valleys, and mountain vistas at Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier. On the Ovation, vacationers can create lasting memories between destinations, with skydiving in the Ripcord simulator by iFly, dancing in the new Sound Cellar, and celebrating with tropical cocktails at the Pesky Parrot tiki bar. To refuel, there's a variety of international cuisine to enjoy, from Italian favorites at Giovanni's Italian Kitchen and premium cuts of meat at Chops Grille to hibachi at Izumi Teppanyaki.

  • Serenade of the Seas – From Vancouver

On Serenade, vacationers can explore Alaska’s rugged mountains, temperate rainforests, and wildlife-rich coastline on seven-night getaways from Vancouver, May through September. Adventures await, including the world’s longest and highest zipline at Icy Strait Point, hiking in Prince Rupert, British Columbia, and strolling through Juneau’s historic district. On deck, adventurers can climb the rock wall, relax with poolside movie nights under the stars, and enjoy live music at the Schooner Bar. Plus, with exteriors made of more than three acres of glass, Serenade opens up to the majesty of the Alaskan landscape from the comfort of the ship.

  • Voyager of the Seas – From Seattle

From April to September, vacationers can enjoy seven-night Voyager from Seattle to Alaskan destinations like Sitka, Juneau, and Skagway, and Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Adventurers can visit National Historic Sites of the Last Frontier and enjoy picture-postcard views of the surrounding mountains and coastal landscapes while searching for wildlife such as grizzly bears, harbor seals, and bald eagles. Back on Voyager, families can stay active with ice skating and laser tag in Studio B, mini-golf, and arcade games, while adults can relax on the fully heated Solarium pool deck.
