Two successful brands from Cologne's music and events scene are joining forces to offer an extraordinary experience at sea: Jeckliner and Jeck im Sunnesching are becoming Jeckliner im Sunnesching. To make this a reality, TUI Cruises and Gaffel are combining two established formats for the first time, taking the successful cruise-event concept to a new level.
From September 24 to 28, 2027, the Mein Schiff 2 will embark on a four-day cruise from Palma de Mallorca. After a day at sea, it will head to La Seyne-sur-Mer, near Toulon, on the French Riviera. From there, it will continue to Barcelona and other parts of Spain before finally returning to Palma. A stellar lineup of artists will create a festive carnival atmosphere on board.
Kasalla, one of Germany's most successful Kölsch dialect rock bands, will make their Jeckliner debut, joining the cruise ship in Barcelona for a live performance. Miljö will also be performing for the first time. The lineup is rounded out by artists such as Klüngelköpp, Räuber, Druckluft, Eldorado, Planschemalöör, Fiasko, and Juli Voyage. The program brings together established names from the music scene with up-and-coming artists, as well as several groups making their Jeckliner debut.
Comedy and entertainment will also play a prominent role during the cruise. Herrengedeck, one of the most popular stand-up comedy formats, will be on board. JP Weber, Martin Schopps, and Volker Weininger, known as “Der Sitzungspräsident” (the Session Chairman), will also each perform their own solo shows. Lukas Wachten will host the program from the pool deck, with co-host Nico Jansen. Ken Reise will guide the audience through the main show in the ship's theater. In addition, several DJs will ensure the party continues at sea long after the live performances have ended.
