Emirates launches its next-generation VIP lounge concept worldwide

Emirates has unveiled a new, state-of-the-art lounge concept, which is being rolled out this year in its major cities worldwide, marking another milestone in the airline’s ongoing investment to enhance the customer experience on the ground. The new design aesthetic has been showcased in Emirates’ lounges in Munich and Frankfurt, with Emirates’ lounges in Manchester, Mauritius, and Istanbul expected to follow suit in the coming months. This new exclusive concept, which will serve as a model for Emirates lounges globally, reflects the airline’s unwavering commitment to exceptional hospitality, luxury, and innovation.

EmiratesEmirates will invest over AED 50 million in each next-generation lounge, underscoring its commitment to providing world-class facilities across its global network. While customers are already discovering and enjoying Emirates lounges in Munich and Frankfurt, the opening of the Emirates lounge in Manchester is planned for July, followed by Mauritius in August and Istanbul in October.
The new, exclusive lounge design brings the acclaimed aesthetic of Emirates’ latest cabin interiors to a sophisticated ground experience. Customers can look forward to contemporary architecture and furnishings, integrated technology, locally inspired cuisine, expert recommendations from an in-house barista and mixologist, and wellness-focused services tailored to premium travelers. Carefully designed to meet the needs of customers who work, dine, relax, and connect while traveling, the latest lounge concept sets a new benchmark for premium airport lounges.

“Our investment in our next-generation exclusive lounge concept reflects Emirates’ ongoing commitment to delivering a seamless, premium experience at every stage of the journey. These new lounges have been designed to combine luxuriously renovated interiors with the high-level hospitality and innovation for which Emirates is known: a space for our customers to relax, enjoy, dine, and prepare for their journey in comfort. As we roll out this concept and theme across our entire global network, it will set a new benchmark and standard for airport lounges and further strengthen our premium proposition.”.

Adel Al Redha, Emirates Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, said:
Inspired by the elegant color palette of Emirates cabin interiors and Dubai’s flagship lounges, customers will benefit from more than 50 design enhancements, including distinct areas for relaxation, work, socializing, and dining. The new exclusive lounges feature a distinctly Emirates aesthetic, with discreetly integrated lighting, herringbone flooring throughout, marble and gold accents, and Emirates’ signature backlit Ghaf tree motif—a nod to UAE culture highlighting the national tree.

Focused work and productivity in Emirates lounges.
For customers who wish to work or stay connected while traveling, Emirates' new lounges offer more private areas, as well as common spaces designed to function as both social gathering places and work areas. Details such as Italian eco-leather seats, wireless charging, and universal power outlets at every seat enhance productivity, while a dedicated art wall pays tribute to both local artists and Emirati culture. Emirates' signature Rolex watches adorn the walls and display time zones from around the world.

High-End Dining in Emirates Lounges.
With spacious seating and a welcoming atmosphere, the dining areas in Emirates' newly designed lounges have been reimagined around culinary shows and live cooking stations. Menus will offer a wide variety of international cuisine, with featured dishes including regional specialties and a dedicated "Made In" area showcasing the best of local gastronomy. Live cooking stations will offer dishes prepared to order, while the hot and cold buffet selections will be refreshed throughout the day and night. A dedicated bread oven fills the air with the enticing aromas of artisanal pizzas, flatbreads, and manakeesh, inspired by the city of Dubai.
Premium beverages continue to be offered, featuring Emirates' exclusive selection of wines, beers, champagnes, and spirits. A new barista bar concept will feature a dedicated mixologist offering locally inspired cocktails and mocktails, as well as specialty coffees and artisanal teas.

Revitalizing relaxation awaits in Emirates' lounges.
Passengers are welcomed into a tranquil environment enhanced by Emirates' signature fragrance of bergamot, citrus, jasmine, and soft wood, while local plants and fresh floral arrangements add to the ambiance. Guests seeking refreshment will enjoy refurbished shower suites with spa-inspired finishes and sustainable toiletries from VOYA.
Separate prayer rooms for men and women offer a serene setting for spiritual reflection, with ablution facilities and Qibla orientation integrated into the design, ensuring guests can perform their prayers in comfort and privacy.
For relaxation and rest during layovers, the Quiet Zone provides an oasis of tranquility. With comfortable seating, soft lighting, and sleep amenities such as blankets, eye masks, and earplugs, this area is designed to help guests recharge. Additional facilities include private meeting and breastfeeding spaces, ensuring that every customer's needs are met. All Emirates lounges operate as quiet environments, guaranteeing a peaceful experience for travelers.
