Explora Journeys presents Spain's key role in its global strategy, along with the launch of its latest collection of itineraries.
Based on its "Ocean State of Mind" philosophy, Explora Journeys has reinvented the art of travel: an invitation to surrender to the calm of the sea, embrace tranquility, and savor every moment without haste. Between 2024 and 2026, Explora Journeys plans to increase its port calls in Spain, from 42 in 2024 to 70 in 2026, distributed across 16 national ports, including Alicante, Arrecife, Barcelona, Bilbao, Cádiz, Cartagena, A Coruña, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Mahón, Málaga, Motril, Palma de Mallorca, Puerto Banús, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Tarragona, and Valencia. This sustained growth reflects the brand's consolidation in the Spanish market and its firm commitment to the Mediterranean as a strategic destination.
Barcelona will host the inaugural voyage of EXPLORA III on August 3, 2026, departing from the MSC Group terminal opened in 2024, offering guests first-class facilities and a truly unique boarding experience.
Explora Journeys continues to expand horizons with its new collection of trips, a proposal that spans five continents with nearly 100 itineraries visiting 59 countries and almost 200 destinations, including the popular Eastern and Western Mediterranean, the Caribbean, Northern Europe, Asia, Alaska, and the Arabian Peninsula/Red Sea. Northern Europe
In the summer of 2026, EXPLORA III will sail through some of Northern Europe's most breathtaking landscapes. From that year onward, the ship will offer an exclusive program that allows guests to discover the beauty of Scandinavia and the Baltic States, a region where nature blends seamlessly with history and culture. The itineraries, designed to take advantage of the long days and mild summer weather at high latitudes, will provide the opportunity to explore spectacular fjords, charming cities, and coastlines bathed in the midnight sun. Each voyage promises an immersive ocean experience, where the comfort and elegance of EXPLORA III combine with the magic of Northern Europe.
Asia and Alaska
In 2027, EXPLORA III will mark the company's debut in highly anticipated destinations such as Asia and Alaska. Starting in May 2027, adventurous travelers will have the opportunity to discover the secrets of Alaska, a land of untamed nature and breathtaking beauty. Majestic glaciers, endless forests, and the magic of the midnight sun will combine to offer a unique ocean experience, where every voyage becomes a true connection with the purest essence of the planet.
Asia will also take center stage with a brand-new series of journeys through Japan, South Korea, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore. Across 28 immersive itineraries, guests can discover everything from the ancient temples of Kyoto to the vibrant urban pulse of Hong Kong and the tranquil beaches of Bali.
The Red Sea and the Arabian Peninsula
Aboard EXPLORA II, travelers will discover a region steeped in history, culture, and breathtaking landscapes. Each voyage offers the opportunity to explore Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Bahrain, connecting with ancient cultures, exploring cosmopolitan cities, and beholding unique natural landscapes, combining comfort and discovery in an unforgettable ocean experience.
