A Mediterranean prelude to EXPLORA III, the maiden voyage taking place from July 24 to 29, 2026, will offer guests a unique preview of the fleet's newest jewel, with perspectives and moments never before experienced. This one-of-a-kind journey is an invitation to discover the elegance and innovation of EXPLORA III before its inaugural ceremony and first voyage, from Barcelona to Lisbon, from August 3 to 10, 2026.
Sailing from Genoa and concluding in Civitavecchia (Rome), EXPLORA III's A Mediterranean Prelude will take you along the shimmering shores of the French and Italian Rivieras, offering countless golden moments to enjoy, connect, and be enveloped by the Mediterranean's magnetism in the heart of summer. In Marseille, guests can explore the vibrant energy of the Vieux-Port before continuing on to Saint-Tropez, where sun-drenched beaches and boutique-lined streets embody the unmistakable glamour of the Côte d'Azur. The pastel port of Villefranche-sur-Mer will offer a more serene charm, perfect for discovering the palm-shaded boulevards and Belle Époque of Nice. In Italy, Livorno will open the door to the rolling landscapes of Tuscany and the Renaissance gems of Florence, before the Eternal City welcomes travelers as the grand finale of this prelude journey.

EXPLORA III will be the first LNG-powered ship in the Explora Journeys fleet, representing the next step in the MSC Group's commitment to sustainable ocean travel. With 463 suites, penthouses, and oceanfront residences, all with private terraces, the ship embodies an atmosphere of relaxed and refined luxury, evoking the spirit of a private yacht.
