Celebrity Cruises ' Celebrity Edge has officially begun its third season in Australia, offering travelers a premium and immersive experience to explore some of the most outstanding destinations in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.
After completing a 19-night Transpacific cruise from Honolulu, the ship arrived in Sydney early this morning (October 20, 2025), ready to welcome passengers on a series of exciting voyages that will extend into April 2026.
With 17 departures from Sydney and Auckland, guests can choose from itineraries ranging from short four-night getaways to immersive 14-night voyages. The season kicks off this afternoon (Monday, October 20, 2025) with an 11-night voyage to the Great Barrier Reef, a World Heritage Site, setting an exciting start to this season in Australia.

This season, Celebrity Cruises offers seven itineraries dedicated to New Zealand, including a 13-night Holiday Cruise that allows you to explore the stunning fjords of Milford, Doubtful and Dusky Sounds, as well as seven ports on the North and South Islands.
In addition, passengers can book a nine-night Australia Wine Journey, touring the east and south coasts of the country, visiting renowned vineyards in Hobart, Kangaroo Island, Adelaide and Melbourne.
For the 2025/26 season, 54 new and exclusive shore excursions have been added. These include experiences in Newcastle, where Celebrity Edge will make its first port of call in December, featuring a sculpture walk, wine tasting, and lunch, combining local culture and relaxation.
In Wellington, a new wellness-focused excursion allows passengers to relax in the countryside, enjoy a guided tour of the Mangaroa Farm gardens, take part in a yoga session surrounded by nature, and sample refreshments made with fresh farm ingredients.
Celebrity Edge offers 29 bars, restaurants, and lounges, over 120 spa treatments, and Broadway- and West End-quality entertainment. The iconic Magic Carpet, the first floating platform at sea, offers a unique dining experience with stunning views, while the Infinite Veranda staterooms provide a more spacious and comfortable stay.
And for the first time, the Celebrity Solstice will call at Sydney on consecutive days, demonstrating Celebrity Cruises' commitment to the region. Following this visit, the Solstice will return on April 9, 2026, with bow-to-stern upgrades, including eight new experiences, four brand-new spaces at sea, and several redesigned areas, as part of the $250 million Solstice Series modernization.
Next season, the Celebrity Solstice will offer itineraries such as Best of New Zealand – 13 nights; Australia Wine Voyage – 10 nights; and South Pacific Adventure – 12 nights. These voyages will allow passengers to enjoy Celebrity's signature service and amenities, along with new outdoor experiences, refreshed dining and entertainment options, and new stateroom categories.
