Norwegian Cruise Line is committed to a particularly diverse Caribbean program for the coming years: with a total of 18 ships, including the latest additions to the fleet, the Norwegian Aqua™, the Norwegian Viva®, and the Norwegian Encore®, the company offers an extraordinary variety of itineraries ranging from four to fourteen days. Cruises depart from eleven different ports in the United States, the Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico, and explore the entire Caribbean region. As a special attraction, almost all itineraries include a stop at one of the cruise line's two exclusive private islands: Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas, which will be completely renovated with new attractions by summer 2026, or Harvest Caye, off the coast of Belize.
For travel agents, this represents a very attractive sales opportunity year-round, whether for a winter getaway or a summer alternative to classic Mediterranean destinations. To optimally prepare travel agents for sales and deepen their knowledge of NCL's Caribbean offerings and the vacation experience aboard its award-winning fleet, the cruise line will launch the "Heading to the Caribbean! The Best Deals in the Industry" sales campaign from September to November 2025.
“The Caribbean, with its idyllic beaches and tropical climate, remains a highly sought-after destination for many travelers. And a cruise is the ideal way to explore this region: it allows you to discover a new island every day and enjoy the region in complete comfort. We look forward to expanding our Caribbean offerings in the coming years and providing our guests with a wide selection of itineraries on our modern, award-winning ships,” says Sonia López Corrales, Senior Business Development Manager for Spain & Portugal at Norwegian Cruise Line. “Now more than ever, it’s crucial to invest specifically in training travel agents: they need to be familiar with our Caribbean products, understand the advantages and added value of NCL, and be able to advise their clients competently and effectively. Our ‘Heading to the Caribbean! The Best Deals in the Industry’ campaign offers the perfect opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of our offerings and be fully prepared to sell.”
Varied, informative and personalized: the highlights of the campaign
From September to November, travel agents will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in NCL's Caribbean world at various industry events. In addition to NCL's own roadshows, the sales team will also participate in roadshows hosted by partners such as Viajes El Corte Inglés in major Spanish cities. The tour will begin in Alicante on September 9th and will visit cities like Córdoba, Bilbao, and Vigo, concluding in Gran Canaria on September 30th
In addition, the third edition of Walk for Wellness will take place, beginning on October 10, World Mental Health Day. Travel agents will be able to accumulate steps for their well-being and for a good cause. This year's edition is dedicated to the Caribbean and takes travel agents on a virtual map to the region's most beautiful destinations.
