Norwegian Cruise Line has announced its Spring/Summer 2027 schedule, allowing travelers to get a head start on planning their vacations. The season includes more than 500 individual voyages aboard 20 ships, departing from nearly 30 of the world's major homeports, including Miami, Seattle, New York, Southampton (UK), and Rome (Civitavecchia, Italy).
From April to October 2027, the NCL fleet will visit more than 150 unique ports in 59 countries, offering immersive itineraries with more time in port, including over 170 overnight stays in popular destinations such as Istanbul, Reykjavik (Iceland), and the Royal Naval Dockyard (Bermuda). Whether planning a short break or a grand adventure, this new schedule opens up more opportunities to make the most of your spring and summer holidays.

Highlights of the itineraries for spring/summer 2027:
MORE short breaks and island adventures: 3- to 11-day cruises in the Caribbean, the Bahamas, and Bermuda
The private islands of Great Stirrup Cay (Bahamas) and Harvest Caye (Belize) are featured on nearly every Caribbean and Bahamas itinerary for 2027. They offer pristine beaches, turquoise waters, and unique shore excursions. Starting in late 2025, Great Stirrup Cay will feature a multi-boat dock, an internal tram, a large heated pool, an exclusive adults-only retreat with private cabanas, and a family recreation area called Horizon Park.
Passengers will have eight ships to choose from, including the new Norwegian Aqua™ and Norwegian Viva®. Norwegian Viva will sail from Miami between April and May 2027. Norwegian Aqua will sail weekly itineraries departing Sundays from Miami and later from Orlando (Port Canaveral), debuting in Falmouth, Jamaica, and George Town, Cayman Islands. There will also be shorter 3- to 5-day cruises from Miami and Port Canaveral with Norwegian Getaway® and Norwegian Escape®.
Bermuda will also be featured, with departures from Philadelphia, New York, and Boston. In 2027, three ships will sail to Bermuda, with overnight stays at the Royal Naval Dockyard, allowing passengers to explore pink sand beaches, historical sites, and golf courses.
MORE Europe: 7-day itineraries, with overnight stays and weekend departures
Eight ships, among the newest and most renovated in the NCL fleet, will operate in Europe. Departing from ports such as Barcelona, Rome, Athens, and Reykjavik, these itineraries offer 90% of the time spent in port, average stays of 11 hours, and overnight stays in cities like Istanbul, Hamburg, and Copenhagen, as well as evening departures from Santorini or Dubrovnik.
Norwegian Prima® and Norwegian Viva will sail the Mediterranean and the Greek Islands. Viva will depart from four different ports, including Barcelona and Istanbul, while Prima will sail routes to Croatia and Montenegro and end the season in the Baltic with new calls in Riga and Helsinki.
In addition, mid-sized ships like Norwegian Sun® and Norwegian Jewel will offer more intimate itineraries focused on less explored destinations such as Klaipeda (Lithuania), Corfu (Greece) and Gdynia (Poland).
MORE Alaska: Aboard ships designed for the great outdoors
The Alaska season will begin in April 2027 with sailings from Seattle, Whittier, Alaska, and Vancouver aboard ships such as the Norwegian Encore®, Bliss®, Joy®, and Jade®. Itineraries will range from 7 to 10 days, including scenic cruises on Hubbard Glacier or Glacier Bay. Travelers can also add land excursions to explore Denali National Park, the Alaska Railroad, or fish in Kachemak Bay.
MORE exotic routes in the Pacific
Following the winter season in Australia and New Zealand, Norwegian Spirit® will remain in the Pacific with open itineraries departing from Sydney, Lautoka (Fiji), Papeete (French Polynesia), and Honolulu. Eleven cruises of 11 to 13 days will be offered, exploring destinations such as New Caledonia, Fiji, Samoa, French Polynesia, and the Cook Islands.
NCL's new program includes an open bar with premium brands, specialty dining, high-speed internet, and shore excursion credit at every port.
