With a capacity for 1,200 passengers, the Oceania Allura was built at the renowned Fincantieri shipyard in Genoa. It is the second ship in Oceania Cruises and represents the evolution of the company's legacy of offering travel experiences focused on gastronomy and cultural immersion in destinations. The Allura follows in the footsteps of its sister ship, the Oceania Vista®, launched in May 2023.

The Oceania Allura continues the brand's legacy as the premier luxury cruise line focused on food and destinations, with new restaurants, innovative menus, and updated versions of favorite dishes. Many of the new dishes debuting on the Allura will also be introduced across the rest of the fleet between the end of this year and early 2026.
Among the new offerings on board is the Crêperie, a novelty on Oceania Cruises, which serves authentic French crêpes, delicious Belgian waffles, bubble waffles and decadent Italian ice creams.
The Oceania Allura also marks the return of the beloved French restaurant Jacques, named after the legendary chef Jacques Pépin, the company's first executive culinary director. This new iteration features refreshed menus with classic French dishes like duck à l'orange with Grand Marnier and new culinary experiences such as tableside steak tartare.
A dozen Japanese-Peruvian dishes have been added to the menu at the pan-Asian specialty restaurant Red Ginger. Known as Nikkei cuisine, this fusion celebrates the best of both traditions. In the Grand Dining Room, the culinary team has created more than 270 new recipes, including 30 new breakfast options. The dining experiences also extend to wine and cocktails.
The Allura will be followed in summer 2027 by the first ship in the Sonata class, the Oceania Sonata™, and in 2029 by its sister ship, the Oceania Arietta™, marking the beginning of a new generation of luxury cruises. Each Sonata ship will accommodate 1,390 guests and measure approximately 86,000 gross tons.
During the delivery ceremony in Genoa, Montague announced that two additional Sonata-class ships have been confirmed for delivery in 2032 and 2035.
“I am pleased to confirm that we will be adding two more ships to the Sonata class. We are proud to continue our path of innovation alongside Fincantieri, our shipbuilding partner for almost 20 years,” Montague stated.
