Celestyal has released the first official images of its expanded cabin offering on board the Celestyal Discovery, following the ship's second major refurbishment in Athens earlier this winter.
The ship, with a capacity for 1,360 passengers, returned to service in March 2025 to kick off the shipping company's Mediterranean season and will head to the Arabian Gulf in December for its first deployment in the region.
Among the improvements are 47 new cabins, including 30 Junior Dream Suites and two Grand Horizon Suites located on the bridge with 15.5 m² balconies, increasing the ship's premium capacity by more than 50%. In addition, 15 interior Cosmos Cabins have been added, representing an overall increase in capacity of 7.4%.
The new cabins were designed in collaboration with the design agency AMK, incorporating elements inspired by the regions the ship visits.

The Celestyal Discovery will debut in the Arabian Gulf on December 12, 2025, joining its sister ship, the Celestyal Journey, which returns to the region on December 6 with a celebratory cruise.
Both ships will offer a season of three, four, and seven-night cruises from Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Doha, with departures scheduled through March 2026, and plans to continue for the next three consecutive years.
The Celestyal Discovery will be based in Abu Dhabi for the next three seasons, and its itineraries in the Arabian Gulf include:
- Each week, a three-night “Iconic Arabia” cruise departs from and returns to Abu Dhabi (Friday to Monday) with stops in Dubai and Sir Bani Yas Island, offering beach and safari experiences.
- Each week, a four-night “Iconic Arabia” cruise departs from and returns to Abu Dhabi (Monday to Friday) with stops in Doha, Dubai (via Ras Al Khaimah) and Khasab in Oman.
All three and four night “Iconic Arabia” cruises can be combined with seven night itineraries.
The release of these images coincides with Celestyal's recent summer promotion, which runs until August 31, 2025, offering discounts on 87 scheduled departures between June 2025 and March 2027. All promotional fares include meals, a selection of soft drinks, Wi-Fi, port fees, and gratuities. Passengers will also receive a 25% bonus in their CelestyalPay wallet when they pay in advance.
