Last Tuesday the 28th we visited the Azamara Journey in the port of Barcelona, on the occasion of the meeting on the same day of three of its four ships in the fleet.
Azamara Cruises celebrated for the first time in its history the simultaneous arrival of three of its sister ships, the Azamara Journey, the Azamara Quest and the Azamara Onward, to Barcelona with a series of exclusive AzAmazing Evening events for its passengers and travel agents from the UK, DACH and other EMEA regions.
In addition, he organized an exclusive panel on board the Azamara Journey with his CEO Dondra Ritzenthaler and other senior company executives, where they addressed the press and agents, answering many questions regarding the company's future, such as the return to Alaska in 2026, with new immersive programs before and after the cruise, the 2027 schedules, including summer itineraries, the largest round-the-world cruise to date, and other future commitments including their growth plans.
The Azamara Journey, Azamara Quest, and Azamara Onward, along with Azamara Cruises' fourth sister ship, the Azamara Pursuit, will begin the summer season in Europe. The Quest will then continue on to Iceland to begin its Canada and New England program starting July 21, 2025. The other ships will embark on a full European season, including the British Isles, Northern Europe, and the Mediterranean.
Azamara Cruises is a small ship company, with fewer than 700 passengers, known for its philosophy of immersion in destinations, and long stays in port or multi-day visits.
