Cunard 's Queen Elizabeth has entered dry dock in Singapore for a refurbishment. According to Cunard, the 2,000-passenger ship will be renovated in preparation for its 2025 cruise seasons in Alaska and the Caribbean.
The project includes improvements to iconic spaces at the Queen Elizabeth, such as the Commodore Club, Queens Room, Panorama Pool Club, Garden Lounge, and The Pavilion. With a focus on tranquility and vibrancy, these spaces will be carefully renovated, the company explained.
The Queen Elizabeth will also feature an exclusive Gala Evening menu, designed by Michelin-starred chef Michel Roux, consisting of three courses and culinary creations specially selected to celebrate the finest gastronomy at sea. This menu will be available to guests staying in the Grills suites.
Guests in the Grills suites will also enjoy additional upgrades, such as renovated interiors and exteriors with new furnishings and designs that aim to offer maximum comfort.
After completing dry dock, the Queen Elizabeth will resume service in Singapore on March 14, 2025, and welcome guests for a 15-night Far East repositioning cruise.
Bound for Japan, this open-route voyage will include stops in Vietnam, the Philippines, and Taiwan, as well as Hong Kong. Upon arrival in Yokohama, the Queen Elizabeth will offer a spring season in Japan before moving to Seattle in mid-June. From then on, the ship will sail a series of seven- to eleven-night cruises to Alaska and Canada, with stops in destinations such as Skagway, Juneau, Victoria, and Glacier Bay.
Following a repositioning cruise through the Panama Canal, the 2,000-passenger ship will arrive in Miami for the 2025-26 winter season. From then until mid-April 2026, the Queen Elizabeth will offer nine- to twelve-night cruises to various regions of the Caribbean departing from South Florida. Ports of call included in these itineraries are St. Maarten, Barbados, St. Lucia, Cozumel, Costa Maya, and Roatán.
