Viking has unveiled the itinerary for its 2026-2027 Round the World voyage, which will circumnavigate the globe in 170 days, visiting 41 countries with 82 guided excursions and overnight stays in 18 cities. It will depart on the Viking Sky, with a capacity for 930 passengers, from Fort Lauderdale on December 22, 2026, and will call at ports on six continents before reaching its final destination in Stockholm on June 10, 2027.
“Our focus has always been on the destination, from our carefully crafted itineraries to our elegant, smaller ships that allow guests to get closer and explore more fully,” said Torstein Hagen, president and CEO of Viking. “Extended voyages like our World Cruises allow curious travelers to experience dozens of destinations, iconic landmarks, and rich cultures in a single, seamless journey, making them once-in-a-lifetime adventures.”
Passengers on the Viking World Voyage IV cruise will be able to explore destinations in Hawaii and tour the South Pacific islands, including French Polynesia; travel through New Zealand and Australia; sail to iconic destinations in Asia; and journey up the west coast of Africa to Europe before concluding in London or Stockholm. A shorter, 153-day voyage, Viking World Voyage IV, will depart from Los Angeles on January 8, 2027, and visit 37 countries with 18 overnight stays before ending in Stockholm.
