Swan Hellenic presents its first cultural expedition cruise dedicated to wine and gastronomy connoisseurs, Wine & Gastronomy @Sea.
The voyage will depart from Lisbon on May 12, 2025, with stops in Leixões (Porto), Ferrol, Santander, Bilbao, Lorient, Roscoff, Saint-Malo, and Honfleur, before concluding in Portsmouth. This "Legacy of Wine" cruise will explore the historical and cultural highlights of each port of call in depth, in keeping with the Swan Hellenic tradition. It will also enrich the experience with visits to prestigious vineyards and local specialty producers, offering daily opportunities to savor the finest culinary and oenological delights of each region, showcasing the unique terroir and rich winemaking traditions of these areas.
Master of Wine Keith Isaac, general manager of Castelnau Wine Agencies, will lead the wine tastings and accompany guests throughout the trip, sharing his 36 years of experience. The tastings will include everything from premium ports and champagnes to wines from Rioja and Ribera del Duero, as well as award-winning ciders and calvados.
The lucky guests will also share moments with award-winning Chef Heribert Dietrich, a JRE member with 16 Gault & Millau points and a Michelin star in his illustrious career.
Each evening on board, Heribert and Keith will join forces to create an intimate celebration of fine wine and haute cuisine in an elegant setting overlooking the ocean. They will offer carefully curated pairings, where each dish tells a story. This culinary crescendo will culminate in a spectacular Gala Dinner toward the end of the voyage.
