Carnival Corporation & plc has announced significant changes within its global leadership team for Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, and Seabourn. Gus Antorcha has been appointed president of Princess Cruises; Beth Bodensteiner will lead Holland America Line; and Mark Tamis joins as president of Seabourn.
Gus Antorcha, current president of Holland America Line, has been appointed president of Princess Cruises, effective December 2, 2024, replacing John Padgett, who will leave the business in mid-February 2025.
Beth Bodensteiner, currently senior vice president and chief commercial officer of Holland America Line, has been promoted to president of the cruise line, effective December 2, 2024. Both Antorcha and Bodensteiner will report to Josh Weinstein, CEO of Carnival Corporation & plc.
Bodensteiner will also be the chief executive officer of Seabourn, as the brand welcomes Mark Tamis back to Carnival Corporation as its new president, replacing Natalya Leahy, who has held various positions throughout her career at Carnival. We wish her the best of luck in her new role outside the company and thank her for all her contributions during her time with us.

Antorcha takes on a new role at the company.
Antorcha will lead Princess Cruises and oversee all operational and performance aspects of the cruise line's global fleet of 16 ships that sail annually to more than 1.7 million guests to over 330 destinations worldwide.
Since 2020, Antorcha has been at the helm of Holland America Line, managing all areas of the company. Prior to joining Holland America Line, Antorcha held several management positions at Carnival Cruise Line, including Chief Operating Officer. He was previously a partner and managing director at Boston Consulting Group.

Bodensteiner brings decades of cruise experience.
A 20-year veteran of Holland America Line, Bodensteiner will lead all aspects of the premium cruise company's business as president, including its fleet of 11 ships sailing more than 500 cruises to over 450 ports in more than 110 countries and territories worldwide. Previously, Bodensteiner served for six years as senior vice president and chief commercial officer of Holland America Line, as well as overseeing the business activities of the company's ultra-luxury Seabourn brand.

Tamis, a veteran of cruise and luxury hotels, joins Seabourn.
Tamis brings more than three decades of experience in ultra-luxury cruising and expedition travel to his new role as president of Seabourn. He joins the company after serving as global president of Aimbridge Hospitality, overseeing the business and operations of its 1,500 hotels. Previously, Tamis led onboard hotel operations for Royal Caribbean International and was senior vice president of guest operations for Carnival Cruise Line. He also worked for more than 20 years in the luxury and boutique hotel industry with brands such as Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and Ian Schrager Hotels.
