Resorts World Cruises celebrated the inaugural departure of Resorts World One from Cruise Terminal 2 in Port Rashid, Dubai, on November 1, 2024. The ship will operate three weekly cruises to destinations in the Gulf.
Nearly 600 guests, including regional dignitaries, members of the media, and other prominent figures, attended a celebratory event on board hosted by Resorts World Cruises President Michael Goh. The event featured live performances, tours of the ship, and special presentations.
“We are delighted that Resorts World One has arrived in Dubai and is ready to set sail. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the local and regional governments, authorities, tourism industry partners, the media, and our guests for their support. We look forward to bringing unique experiences to the Gulf region and are excited to inaugurate our first cruise with a special week-long Diwali celebration on board,” said Goh.
Saud Hareb Almheiri, head of cruise and yacht tourism at Dubai's Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), said: "Dubai warmly congratulates Resorts World Cruises on the successful launch of its new services, for which it is proud to be the homeport.
As part of the launch, guests who book November departures on three-night Oman or two-night Qatar cruises will receive complimentary onboard credit. The Resorts World One itinerary includes the two-night Sir Bani Yas Weekend Cruise, the two-night Doha Cruise, and the three-night Muscat-Khasab Cruise, with the option to combine voyages to extend your journey.
