The shipping company Alma Cruceros recently unveiled a boutique Andalusian cruise, which will call at most of Andalusia's major ports, as well as the autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla. This cruise will be operated by the Ocean Victory and will begin calling at the Port of Huelva in 2025. Alma Cruceros' inaugural itinerary will commence in April 2025, with departures from Malaga and routes connecting the main ports of Andalusia.
The president of the Port of Huelva has stated that the meeting with the cruise line "reinforced the port's position as a cruise port of call for the luxury segment and highlighted the existing collaboration between administrations and institutions to offer a high-quality destination for discerning cruise passengers who value service and personalized attention." He also noted that this cruise with an Andalusian itinerary "is the result of the work of the Andalusian ports of general interest, members of the Suncruise Andalucía Association, which, together with the Regional Government of Andalusia, has worked to promote a cruise that will help to showcase Andalusian ports and nautical and cruise tourism in the region.".
