Nicky Guerrero, Secretary General of MedCruise from January to November 2023, will return to the position with immediate effect under the leadership of its new President, Theodora Riga.
The decision was made after consulting with its new board of directors, appointed at the 65th MedCruise General Assembly, which took place in Malaga in September of this year, where Theodora Riga of the Port of Thessaloniki was also appointed president.
The president stated: “We are delighted to welcome Nicky back to the association for a new term as secretary general.” “On behalf of all the board members, we would like to thank Anja Lohrum, interim secretary general, for her service to MedCruise.”.
Lohrum will return to her previous position as senior advisor to MedCruise's secretariat, marketing and event management.
Guerrero is the current conference director of the International Cruise Summit in Madrid and has extensive knowledge of the cruise and aviation industries. His experience includes serving as executive director of the Gibraltar Tourist Office for over two decades.
