Aurora Expeditions has announced a themed photographic expedition to Antarctica that will take place in February 2026.
Led by some of the world's best nature and landscape photographers, the 12-day Antarctic Explorer: Through the Lens expedition will offer avid photography fans the chance to learn from accomplished photo guides such as lead photographer Nigel Danson along with Mads Peter Iverson, Rachel Bigsby, Scott Portelli, James Popsys and many more.
Given that the Antarctic summer months offer between 18 and 24 hours of daylight, each day's activities will be arranged to provide photographers with optimal opportunities to capture one of the world's most pristine destinations, complemented by captivating lectures, enlightening presentations, and valuable tips to help passengers capture unforgettable moments in Antarctica like a pro.
Participants will gain insights into camera setup, composition improvement, and fine-tuning, regardless of their camera equipment or smartphone, through personalized guidance both onboard and during land-based adventures.
