Cunard has announced that two-Michelin-starred chef Michel Roux will return to Norway in 2025 for another exclusive series of Le Gavroche at Sea experiences.
The prestigious chef will oversee four Le Gavroche collaborations on four exciting trips to the Fjords next year – two aboard the new Queen Anne and two more on the flagship Queen Mary 2 between April and August.

The Queen Mary 2 will host the first-ever five-night Le Gavroche experience aboard The Verandah, the world's only ocean liner, on its seven-night voyage through the Fjords, beginning April 6. Passengers will enjoy a five-course tasting menu showcasing the flavors of the sea, elegantly crafted with the finest ingredients and designed by one of the world's most decorated chefs.
Next, Michel will collaborate on board the Queen Anne – Le Gavroche at Sir Samuels – on the Fjords cruise on May 11, where passengers can also expect a wide variety of seafood and culinary classics.
On August 15, Michel will return to The Verandah on the Queen Mary 2, before completing the four experiences at Le Gavroche aboard the Queen Anne from August 31.
Reservations at Le Gavroche at Sea will incur an additional charge. These experiences will have a maximum of 60 guests at The Verandah and 50 at Sir Samuels each evening.
A superior experience
In addition to hosting these exclusive experiences, Michel will launch another elevated seafood culinary concept.
Oysters at The Champagne Bar (Queen Mary 2) and Oysters at Carinthia Lounge (Queen Anne) will serve exquisite Norwegian seafood every night of their respective voyages. Walk-ins welcome.
During each trip, Michel will also offer a live cooking demonstration at the Royal Court Theatre and give lectures, delighting guests with anecdotes from his distinguished career of over 40 years in the hospitality industry. He will also be signing books.
Katie McAlister, President of Cunard, said: “We are delighted to continue our successful Le Gavroche at Sea experiences. Our guests expect exceptional experiences, and having one of the world’s most celebrated chefs on board to create special menus and host exclusive events is truly special.”
Michel Roux added: “It’s always a privilege to relive the essence of Le Gavroche, and I’m delighted to be collaborating with Cunard for a second series of partnerships next year. This project is incredibly rewarding and allows me to create signature menus that capture the spirit of adventure as well as the art of fine dining. I’m very excited to be back on board and showcasing the beauty of Norwegian seafood to Cunard passengers.”.
