The Residence Wine Experience (4-day trip before or after the cruise)
Cape Town, South Africa, visiting the historic wineries of Paarl and Boschendal, with tastings and a picturesque picnic, exploring the region's prized vineyards and savoring gourmet meals paired with local wines.
Grootbos Private Nature Reserve (4-day post-cruise excursion), known for its conservation efforts and luxurious accommodations, with elegant suites surrounded by stunning scenery. Activities include exploring Milkwood Forest, botanical excursions, 4x4 flower safaris, and visits to the ancient Klipgat Cave and Walker Bay Nature Reserve, wine tasting and a picnic in South Africa's southernmost wine region, and a marine safari to see the "Big Five," before relaxing in the serene wilderness.
Ultimate Botswana Experience (7-day mid-cruise trip) offers safaris and mokoro excursions through the Okavango Delta, exceptional animal sightings including the "Big Five" (lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant and African buffalo) and more than 500 species of birds.
Most Seabourn Journey packages include select meals, transportation, and guided experiences for smaller groups, ensuring an intimate and personalized connection with the destination and its culture.
