Azamara Cruises has announced the appointments to the executive team that will lead the company into its next phase of growth.

“I couldn’t be more pleased to announce that these three exceptional individuals are joining the Azamara team. Meg, Paulette, and Minas are recognized leaders in their respective fields. Each of them brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the cruise industry to Azamara. Each will play a critical role in helping us take our industry-leading innovation and growth strategies to the next level,” Dondra Ritzenthaler, CEO of Azamara Cruises.
Meg Lee will oversee Azamara Cruises' global Marketing and Communications, including Product, Commerce, Brand, Engagement and Loyalty, Media, Public Relations, and Internal Communications. Previously, Lee was Chief Marketing Officer for Norwegian Cruise Line and, most recently, led Consumer Marketing in North America for The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.
Paulette Haedo will lead the Information Technology and Program Management Office. With extensive knowledge of the Seaware cruise reservation system, gained through her experience at American Classic Voyages, Disney Cruise Line, and Virgin Voyages, Haedo specializes in creating scalable, customer-centric products and enhancing the customer experience.
In her most recent role, Haedo served as Vice President of Experience Product Delivery Transformation at Virgin Voyages. Previously, she held key positions in Information Technology, Transformation, and Digital Functions at Royal Caribbean, Disney Cruise Line, and American Classic Voyages.
Minas Miliaras, a naval architect with an MBA in marine engineering, will oversee technical, nautical, safety, environmental, and security operations as Azamara's Maritime Director. Miliaras has previously held several similar senior-level positions, including Senior Vice President of Marine Technical Operations at Carnival Maritime and Associate Vice President of Marine Operations at Royal Caribbean.
Nico Corbijn has been appointed Chief Administrative Officer after three successful and impactful years overseeing Marine Operations at Azamara Cruises. He will now lead Global Human Resources, Legal Services, and Azamara's flagship Land-Based Product Development team.
Corbijn brings to his new role a background in Organizational Management and multiple certifications in Human Resources, in addition to extensive experience in crew management. According to Ritzenthaler, “Nico’s combination of knowledge, experience, and leadership skills is truly exceptional. His ability to manage operations both on and off the ground is remarkable.”
