Oceania Cruises has just announced that its new ship, the Allura, will enter service a week ahead of schedule.

Its maiden voyage will depart from Trieste, Italy, on July 18, 2025, sailing for six days to Athens with stops at gems of the eastern Mediterranean such as Rijeka, Croatia; Ravenna, Italy; Dubrovnik, Croatia; and Kotor, Montenegro.
Right after its summer season in the Mediterranean, the Allura will sail to Canada and New England for a series of immersive North American voyages before its winter season in the Caribbean, based in Miami.
For new travelers interested in experiencing an upper-premium vacation, the line has introduced a four-day “Taste of Oceania Cruises” round-trip voyage from New York from September 30 to October 4, 2025.
“Thanks to the progress made by our valued partners at Fincantieri, we are thrilled to move up the Allura’s entry into service by one week,” said Frank A. Del Rio, President of Oceania Cruises. “I am excited to introduce Allura on a one-off tasting voyage to showcase the ship to aspirational travelers looking to experience an upper-premium cruise, and even better, departing from the heart of New York City, Manhattan.”
Oceania Cruises' newly appointed Executive Culinary Directors, Chefs Alexis Quaretti and Eric Barale, are working with the line's talented team to review menus at all venues aboard the Allura, with a special focus on designing a variety of delicacies for the brand's new Crêperie.
“Oceania Cruises is a cruise line founded by food lovers, for food lovers. Food is at the heart of everything we do,” said Chef Alex.
“We have many exciting culinary developments in the works for Allura, including over 300 new recipes in development for The Grand Dining Room across all three meal services. I'm excited to reveal more in the coming months.”
