Windstar Cruises is celebrating the addition of two new yachts to its fleet. Both are Star Class vessels, the Star Seeker and the Star Explorer, which will join the fleet in December 2025 and 2026 respectively.

Each of these ships will offer 112 luxury suites, all with private terraces and expansive windows offering breathtaking ocean views. They will even feature the new Owner's Suites, distinguished by their panoramic balconies.
As for entertainment facilities, the yachts will include the company's iconic water sports platform with access via a new staircase, a cafe, an exclusive lounge in the Yacht Club, a two-story spa with a gym, and, as if that weren't enough, an intimate bow hot tub and a deck to enjoy sunny days and Windstar barbecues.

Gastronomy remains a priority in the onboard experience, so the main dining room, Amphora, will serve a variety of signature dishes, including rotating selections from guest chefs. In addition, passengers can enjoy al fresco dining at both Amphora and Star Grill.
Star Seeker and Star Explorer feature ice-strengthened hulls, allowing them to access new destinations rarely explored by other ships. The vessels are equipped with the latest safety, propulsion, and navigation technology, enhancing the cruise experience in any destination. Of course, these yachts also incorporate the latest environmental and sustainability innovations.
In addition to the addition of these new yachts, Windstar has begun the renovation of its sailboats, starting with the Wind Star, which has already completed the first phase of its refurbishment.
This process aims to redesign public spaces and cabins with a more elegant and contemporary style; even onboard leisure and wellness facilities will have significant improvements.
Among the new amenities will be a more welcoming lounge, a spa and gym equipped with state-of-the-art machines, and a redesigned pool deck with new furniture and vegetation that will give it a special touch.
With these new features and improvements, the company aims to continue offering luxury and comfort tailored to passengers' needs. Furthermore, it will always offer the personalized service that is so characteristic of Windstar.
Their yachts have the ability to reach hidden and less-traveled ports that other ships can't access. Moreover, the onboard experience, with its gastronomy, 24-hour service, and entertainment, offers something for everyone.
Summer Itineraries 2024
For the summer season of 2024, Windstar Cruises will be offering itineraries in Greece and Iceland aboard two of its ships.
In Greece, the Wind Star will be offering 7-night cruises from and to Piraeus (Athens), exploring the Greek islands and making stops at remote and uncrowded destinations such as Patmos and Monemvasia.

These trips will give passengers the opportunity to enjoy unique experiences such as dining under the stars at the Roman ruins of Ephesus in Kusadasi, offering a deep and authentic cultural immersion. Departures are scheduled for between May and August 2024.
Meanwhile, in Iceland, the company will offer 7-night cruises aboard the Star Pride, circumnavigating the island from Reykjavik. Travelers will discover Iceland's diversity and majesty with a comprehensive 7-night itinerary, exploring each destination in depth and learning about its history and culture. Departures are scheduled for July and August 2024.
The expansion will also allow Windstar to bring back one of its beloved Wind-Class ships, the Wind Star, to Tahiti, where it will join the Star Breeze in 2027, adding more capacity to meet the growing demand for cruises to French Polynesia. Travelers will now have the option of cruising between the islands on either a Wind-Class or a Star-Class ship.
With these new routes and fleet upgrades, Windstar Cruises continues to offer a cruise experience that combines luxury, comfort, and adventure.
