This summer, MSC Cruises is expanding its program for children and families with new services and activities. It is also launching its new "Family Plan" promotion for departures from Spanish ports.

Family Plan
MSC Cruises' new promotion aimed at families seeks to offer greater availability to those looking to book their summer holidays. Typically, multi-occupancy cabins are the most popular and sell out within the first few months of a departure being offered.
Therefore, this summer, MSC Cruises wants to help families travel by offering bookings now. The MSC Cruises Family Plan is a promotion that offers a family two different cabins where children pay 50% of the base cruise fare. Families can travel comfortably from home, with free shuttle buses from nearly 30 Spanish cities to the port of embarkation.
In addition, starting this summer, families on board MSC Cruises will have even more activities and services to choose from, including extended hours for kids' clubs, new family competitions, baby services and much more.
Extended services for babies from six months old
For the first time, MSC Cruises will offer a baby care service for infants six months and older, expanding its existing service that previously catered only to children one year and older. This new service allows parents to enjoy the ship knowing their children are being cared for by highly trained staff.
These services are offered in collaboration with Chicco, a partner of MSC Cruises, and ensure that all youth team staff on board are prepared to meet the needs of babies between six months and two years old.
Doremiland Open House and Party
Now parents can enjoy quality time with their children at the kids' club. A specific time will be set aside each day when all of Doremiland's facilities will be open. In addition, a family party will be organized once during the cruise.
New original family games from MSC
Among the most popular activities for families are MSC's competitions, where children take center stage and can compete against their parents. Following the success of MasterChef at Sea Juniors, Break the Wall , and MSC Dance Crew, two new family-friendly competitions have been added to the family program: World Quest, a geography-based trivia game, and Caravaggio, an art-focused espionage game.
Extended hours for teenagers aged 12 to 17
The club's opening hours for young people aged 12 to 17 have been extended, giving them the opportunity to enjoy the club every day at sea. Specifically, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to midnight, and every day in port from 3:00 PM to midnight.
Guinness World Record family activities on various boats
Following the success of the Guinness World Record attempt on board, the program will be expanded to more ships. All families can compete for prizes in the family record-breaking quiz show. Now available on: MSC World Europa, MSC Euribia, MSC Seascape, MSC Seashore, MSC Magnifica, MSC Divina, MSC Meraviglia, MSC Virtuosa , and MSC Grandiosa.
New MSC Foundation Day
Families will now have the opportunity to participate in exclusive children's activities in collaboration with the MSC Foundation and its partners, to learn more about sustainability. This includes an hour of activities each day, dedicated to environmental topics, where children can learn, create, and express themselves according to their interests.
Steve Leatham, Global Director of Entertainment at MSC Cruises, comments: “At the heart of our business is family. We love creating unforgettable memories and holidays for everyone, but especially for families. That’s why we’re proud to offer a comprehensive entertainment and family activities program across our fleet that satisfies even our most discerning guests. As a father of three, I know firsthand the incredible work our youth team does on board. They not only entertain children and families but also create moments that can only be experienced on our ships.”
Matteo Mancini, Senior Director of Youth Entertainment at MSC Cruises, says: “We welcome over 600,000 children and teenagers every year, and we want to ensure that each one of them disembarks having had the best possible experience. That’s why it’s so important for us to listen to their feedback and keep up with entertainment trends. Music, competitions, digital innovation, and highly qualified youth staff are the pillars we’ve brought to life.”
