Explora Journeys will be a Global Partner of the 37th America's Cup Louis Vuitton, the oldest competition in international sport, which will take place this year in Barcelona, Spain.

This marks an important milestone for Explora Journeys, in line with the brand's commitment to creating exceptional experiences at sea and reflecting a shared maritime heritage and values.
The 37th Louis Vuitton America's Cup is an unparalleled global spectacle where "there is no second place." Teams from the USA, UK, Italy, Switzerland, and France will compete for supremacy in the prestigious Louis Vuitton Cup Challenger Series before the ultimate showdown, where the victorious Challenger will earn the right to face the Defender, Emirates Team New Zealand, in the illustrious Louis Vuitton America's Cup Match.
Since its inception in 1851, the America's Cup has symbolized the pioneering spirit of sailing, encouraging innovative designs and pushing the boundaries of performance.
Pierfrancesco Vago, Executive Chairman of MSC Group's Cruise Division, stated: “Our collaboration with the America's Cup pays tribute to a shared maritime history of challenges and achievements. Both the rich history of this sporting competition and our own 300-year maritime tradition embody our commitment to excellence, innovation, and a deep love for the sea.”
At the heart of the America's Cup lies an unyielding ambition to be the best, fueled by an innate competitive spirit of humanity.
Grant Dalton, CEO of America's Cup Events, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Explora Journeys as a Global Partner of the 37th America's Cup. They are driven to create exceptional experiences at sea, and I have no doubt that during the two months of racing starting on August 22nd, we will see some of the most exceptional America's Cup races in history.”
United by their shared values and a deep respect and passion for the sea, both the America's Cup and Explora Journeys have committed to adopting the most advanced environmental solutions.
As part of this collaboration, Explora Journeys will host the America's Cup trophy aboard the EXPLORA I on June 19, offering guests and partners the opportunity to immerse themselves in the legacy of this competition.
This marks the beginning of a series of activations and events in Barcelona. Among them is the Official Race Village, which will include an area dedicated to Explora Journeys, where guests can immerse themselves in the Ocean State of Mind.
“Our ambition at Explora Journeys is to redefine luxury at sea,” added Pierfrancesco Vago. “Like the design of the America’s Cup yachts, it’s an ongoing, evolving challenge that we approach with passion and dedication. With ships like EXPLORA I and the upcoming EXPLORA II, we are committed to setting new benchmarks in design and craftsmanship, sharing the same passion as the America’s Cup for maritime innovation and the relentless pursuit of perfection.”
