Windstar Cruises will offer off-season itineraries in the Mediterranean in 2025 and 2026.
The company announces its 2025/2026 Mediterranean winter voyages and departure dates, including six unique itineraries plus six Star Collectors, which are trips that combine itineraries for deeper exploration.
These Star Collector departures entice travelers to stay longer in destinations and enjoy Europe even more.
Along with the opening of new sailings, Windstar is combining an Early Booking Offer that includes one onboard credit per cabin plus a free upgrade to All Inclusive Fares.
This means unlimited Wi-Fi, tips, and beer, wine, and cocktails at no extra charge. The offer expires on October 31, 2025.
“Winter in the Mediterranean is a fantastic time to see a different side of this magical region, meet the locals, and celebrate special holidays like Christmas in Florence, New Year’s in Dubrovnik, and Carnival throughout Italy,” says Windstar President Christopher Prelog. “Year-round sailing in the Mediterranean has been so successful for Windstar that we are now expanding our winter offering due to its popularity.”
Windstar's winter voyages include ports the company doesn't typically visit in summer, such as Valencia (Spain), Crotone (Italy), and Catania (Sicily). At each port, a range of shore excursions will be available, offering experiences for both first-time and returning passengers.
Windstar's 2025/2026 season also features a new port of call: Genoa, Italy. There, guests can visit the most important maritime museum in the Mediterranean, explore Europe's largest aquarium, or stroll through the Palazzi dei Rolli, a collection of palaces dating from the late 16th and early 17th centuries.
In addition, the season includes overnight stays in Dubrovnik, Venice, Nice, Barcelona, Malaga and Livorno (Florence), allowing for long days of exploration, as well as late drinks and dinners while the ship is in port.
All cruises are conducted aboard the Star Legend, with 312 suites and a minimum of 277 square feet of accommodation, all with ocean views and some with outdoor porches.
Guests enjoy innovative cuisine at five restaurants: Amphora, Veranda, Candles, Stephen Raichlen's Star Grill, and Anthony Sasso's Cuadro 44. The chefs continue to source fresh seafood, produce, and local specialties to bring the flavors of the destination onboard, even during the winter months.
