Norwegian Cruise Line kicks off its 2024 European travel season with the launch of the Norwegian Epic from its homeport in Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy.
This renowned ship will embark on a 10-day voyage exploring the Greek Islands and Italy, marking the start of a season full of adventures and opportunities for travelers.
During this summer season, NCL cruise passengers in Europe will have the opportunity to choose from a selection of 101 different itineraries, including 38 round trips and 63 open departure cruises.
With a total of 140 ports of call in Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, the Greek Islands and the Atlantic Coast, travelers will be able to thoroughly explore some of the continent's most spectacular destinations.
Among the new ports of origin are New York, Paris (Le Havre) in France and Oslo, Norway, which join the 10 existing ports to give travelers more options and flexibility in their travel plans.
In addition, the company will have a fleet of nine ships in the region, including its Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Viva, along with the return of the Norwegian Escape after its 2022 season.
With an average of 10 hours in port, passengers will have the opportunity to explore at their own pace or participate in a wide range of shore excursions.
Options range from traditional guided tours to experiences like Beyond Blueprints, which reveals the design secrets of Europe's most iconic architectural landmarks, and Gourmet Tours, designed for food lovers who want to explore local cuisine from the inside.
