Costa Cruises and its new C|Club 2024 cruise: 'Canary Islands: Between Land, Air, Water and Fire', which will offer exclusive experiences dedicated to members of the company's loyalty program.
For this special two-week holiday, departing from Barcelona on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 aboard the Costa Fascinosa, Costa has devised a unique program of activities.
Starting with the presence on board, for the first time together, of Chefs Bruno Barbieri, Hélène Darroze, Ángel León, who are responsible for the gastronomic excellence on board Costa ships.
The three chefs will be the protagonists of a challenge against time, each preparing a dish with surprise ingredients, and will be the judges of a competition among the members of the C|Club, who must commit to replicating the technical gestures proposed by the chefs, without errors.
In addition, Bruno Barbieri, Hélène Darroze, and Ángel León will sign a limited edition of Destination Dishes, dishes that interpret the tradition and flavors of the places visited on the itinerary, dedicated exclusively to this cruise.
The very special guest will be Boy George. An international music icon, first with Culture Club and then as a solo artist, he has also been a successful DJ for years, one of the most original and alternative on the current dance scene.
At the Costa Fascinosa, he will perform as a DJ by the pool, also singing some of his most famous hits, such as "Karma Chameleon" and "Do you really want to hurt me"
The entertainment program will be enhanced with two themed parties inspired by the Canary Islands: the 'Four Elements Party' and the 'Canary Carnival,' where attendees will have the opportunity to sample local street food specialties. C|Club members will also be able to compete in cooking and artistic creativity contests.
The itinerary for this cruise will be equally special, discovering a large part of the Canary Islands in a very special way, where nature and its elements find their maximum expression.
Five stops are planned in these islands: Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Tenerife and La Gomera, in addition to Funchal (Madeira), Malaga, Marseille and Barcelona.
New excursions have been created specifically to make the most of these fantastic destinations, offering a variety of experiences. For example, in Fuerteventura, a unique farm experience will be available, where guests will learn to make goat cheese, or a catamaran trip around the island's waters.
In Tenerife, C|Club members can enjoy an adventure discovering Mount Teide and its unique landscapes. A visit to the La Gomera Ethnographic Park, featuring show cooking and local wine tasting, is also a must.
