Disney Cruise Line will have a new ship by 2025, the Disney Destiny. This new vessel will be themed as “Heroes and Villains,” inspired by iconic stories and characters from Disney theme parks.
Onboard the Disney Destiny, guests will encounter a variety of heroes and villains, including characters from animated classics such as "The Lion King" and "Hercules," creating an atmosphere of magic and adventure for the whole family.
The bow of the Disney Destiny will be adorned with a figure of Minnie Mouse wearing a heroic outfit and cape, adding a touch of charm and fun to the ship's design.
Sharon Siskie, senior vice president of Disney Cruise Line , said at the keel-laying ceremony at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg: “ The Disney Destiny will celebrate Disney’s most legendary stories and characters, offering exciting new experiences exclusively for Disney Cruise Line guests . ”
The Disney Destiny is scheduled to be delivered in 2025, solidifying Disney Cruise Line's position as a leader in family cruises and providing more opportunities to enjoy the magic of Disney at sea.
