Azamara Cruises has appointed Peter Ryan as business development director for the UK and Ireland.
Ryan has over 25 years of experience in the travel industry and, most recently, held the position of Regional Sales Director for the Southeast at Celebrity Cruises.
She has been responsible for managing the accounts of the head offices of business partners, achieving business objectives and establishing strong relationships with the sector.
Before Celebrity Cruises, Ryan worked for 14 years at Thomas Cook, where he managed sales and profitability for retail branches. Prior to Thomas Cook, Ryan worked as a travel consultant for Classic Travel – Worldchoice.
Stuart Pearce, Commercial Sales Manager for Azamara Cruises in the UK, said: “We are delighted to have Peter join our UK team, as he brings extensive knowledge of the travel industry.”
