Explora Journeys has partnered with Chef Claude Le Tohic to offer a culinary experience to guests traveling aboard EXPLORA I.
Claude Le Tohic's experience includes multiple Michelin-starred restaurants, including Joël Robuchon at the MGM Grand, where he earned three.
Anthology, a restaurant designed to celebrate global culinary talent, has chosen Le Tohic as the guest chef for the gastronomic stage aboard EXPLORA I. Chef Claude Le Tohic will be the third guest chef to showcase his culinary talent at Anthology, one of the 11 culinary experiences on board the ship.
Guests will be able to enjoy his menu from March to June 2024, thus having the opportunity to savor Chef Le Tohic's creations to experience a culinary "Ocean State of Mind".
Chef Claude Le Tohic, of San Francisco's Michelin-starred restaurant O' by Claude Le Tohic , is an icon of modern French cuisine, who will bring his expertise to Anthology as EXPLORA I sails along the Pacific coast of North and Central America, crossing the Atlantic Ocean to reach the Mediterranean.

In collaboration with Alban Gjoka and Franck Garanger, Culinary Chief of Explora Journeys, Chef Le Tohic presents his signature dishes that celebrate modern French cuisine, combining classic techniques with the finest California produce.
The menu highlights include: Scallop cannelloni with an extravaganza of black truffles, parmesan foam and pastoral salad, or their signature A5 bouquet of Japanese Wagyu vegetables with black garlic seasoning.
Claude Le Tohic, inspired by the mantra “Cook as if you were cooking for your loved ones. Make sure you infuse it with passion,” has expressed his enthusiasm for this collaboration: “I am delighted to collaborate with Explora Journeys in creating a menu that aligns with the principles I hold so dear.”

Dining at Anthology is a unique experience that allows you to discover and enrich yourself on a one-of-a-kind journey at sea, and is not included in the standard dining package. An experience fee applies.
EXPLORA I will spend the spring in North America and the Caribbean Sea before returning to the Mediterranean in the summer of 2024.
