Costa Cruises has introduced a new experience on its Mediterranean and Northern European cruises called “Sea Destinations”.
Starting next spring, Costa's Mediterranean and Northern European cruises will be enhanced with new destinations.
These “Sea Destinations” will offer experiential moments such as having breakfast at sunrise in front of the Calanques near Marseille or enjoying a meditation session in the magical atmosphere of the Midnight Sun in the North Sea.
In addition to traditional land-based destinations such as Barcelona or Naples, passengers will be able to immerse themselves in new experiences while sailing aboard a cruise ship.
Sea Destinations of the Western Mediterranean
- Calanques National Park – French Breakfast at Sunrise: Enjoy the first rays of sunlight against the backdrop of the Calanques landscape, near Marseille. Savor a French breakfast on board, complete with music, coffee, and croissants.

- Balearic Sea – Sea of Stars: in the open sea, immersed in the darkness of the Mediterranean, guests will be able to contemplate the sky and the stars, guided by an officer.

- Capri Bay – Caprese Breakfast: Facing the natural spectacle of the Faraglioni at sunrise, guests can enjoy a Neapolitan coffee. Then admire the landscape of Capri while enjoying a typical Caprese cake.

- Norwegian Sea – Midnight Sun: The North Sea is traversed by the Atlantic Current, a line of energy that moves the entire ocean. Behind it, in the intimate setting of Midnight Sun, guests can enjoy a meditation session with relaxing music and tea.
