Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) celebrated the 13th edition of the 'Norwegian Cruise Line Partners First Awards', the company's awards that recognize the work done by travel agencies in Spain.
Tour operators, travel agencies, management groups and company representatives gathered at the gala held at Ovillo, the restaurant of chef Javier Muñoz-Calero.
The event was presented by Kevin Bubolz, Vice President and Managing Director Continental Europe, Middle East & Africa of NCL and Jürgen Stille Senior Director Business Development Europe, as well as the great team of professionals from NCL in Spain.
Kevin Bubolz stated: “Our dedicated travel agents deserve enormous recognition for NCL’s success in the Spanish and Portuguese markets. 2023 has been an extraordinary year for NCL as we have surpassed pre-pandemic levels in terms of booking volume and revenue. With our Partners First Awards, we want to thank our partners and raise a toast to their outstanding contributions.”
Sonia López Corrales, Senior Business Development Manager, and Virginia González Rosado, Business Development Manager, were responsible for announcing and presenting the awards in the various categories recognized by the company this year. The following companies were among the seven award categories recognized in the 2023 Norwegian Cruise Line Partners First Awards:
- Logitravel SL – Number 1 Online Agency in sales; received by Alex Busquets and Daniel Sánchez.
- Viajes El Corte Inglés SA – Number 1 chain in sales; received by Marta Tortajada.
- Avoris Group – Chain with the highest sales growth; received by Santiago Méndez and Chigusa Martinez.
- Mundomar Cruises – Tour Operator with the highest sales growth; received by José Antonio Hermoso and Agustín Quesada.
- Loja de Cruzeiros – Best company in the Portuguese market; received by Lubelia Teixeira
- Aethalia – Solocruceros.com – The fastest-growing online travel agency in sales; received by Natalia Jiménez and Román Lopezosa
- Gea Group – Management group with the highest sales growth; Received by David Cáceres and Sara Fernández.
