MSC Cruises has opened sales for the MSC World Cruise 2026 with a new itinerary aboard the MSC Magnifica, which includes the option of embarking from four European ports: Civitavecchia (Rome), Genoa (Italy), Marseille (France) and Barcelona on January 4, 5, 6 and 7, 2026 respectively.
The 119-day voyage will explore 47 destinations across 32 countries. It will include seven nights in iconic locations, as well as full-day stays at the remaining ports of call throughout the journey.
During the four-month trip, the equator will be crossed twice, and a variety of destinations will be visited, from natural wonders to renowned historical sites, cities, and cultural centers.
The journey begins among some of Europe's most prestigious cities in Italy, France, Spain and Portugal before crossing to the Caribbean and Central America.
After that, the MSC Magnifica will head to the West Coast of the United States and spend more than a month in the Pacific Ocean with stops in San Francisco, Honolulu, Auckland and Sydney, an area known for its natural beauty, its fashionable cities or its beaches.
After this leg of the journey, passengers will enjoy more than three weeks exploring the cultural diversity of Asia. During this time, they will have the opportunity to visit cities such as Tokyo, Shanghai, and Hong Kong, immersing themselves in the richness of each.
Finally, passengers will have the opportunity to explore other destinations such as Dubai and Oman, before embarking on their return journey home via Greece.
The MSC World Cruise 2026 itinerary includes:
- Puerto Limón, Costa Rica: Costa Rica's largest city, Puerto Limón, serves as the starting point for intrepid explorers. Upon arrival, passengers can board a boat that will take them through the Tortuguero Canal and the waterways that wind along Costa Rica's Caribbean coast.
- San Francisco, United States: San Francisco, one of Northern California's most iconic cities, is renowned for its bay, Fisherman's Wharf, the cable car system, and the Golden Gate Bridge. From the pier, passengers can walk to downtown San Francisco and then ascend to the city center via Market Street. Reaching the summit of Twin Peaks offers a unique escape from the city center, with panoramic views of the bay and the city skyline.
- Honolulu, Hawaii: The capital of Hawaii, on the island of Oahu, is the ideal place to soak up the sun, enjoy traditional Hawaiian cuisine, and discover the island's history. With two days docked in the city, passengers will have opportunities to explore the island's historic sites, such as Pearl Harbor.
- Auckland, New Zealand: This city on New Zealand's picturesque North Island is known as the "City of Sails" for its yacht-filled harbor. It offers vineyards to explore, a collection of beaches to relax on, and experiences like a visit to the Waitomo Caves.
- Sydney, Australia: Sydney boasts a blend of Victorian-era buildings and modern architecture. Travelers can explore the city center on the South Shore, a vibrant waterfront area with a variety of attractions, including the Sydney Opera House and the expansive Royal Botanic Gardens, located east of Sydney Cove.
- Tokyo, Japan: Visitors can enjoy art, music, design, shopping, and theater, with something for everyone. Hamarikyu Gardens offer a verdant contrast to the skyscrapers, and a visit to the Imperial Palace will transport tourists to another era.
