Princess Cruises celebrates two important milestones: the 10th anniversary of the Diamond Princess in Southeast Asia and the introduction of the “MedallionClass” vacation experience for its upcoming deployment in Singapore.
The Diamond Princess will return to Singapore for cruises of more than 10 to 14 days from December 2023 through March 2024, giving guests the opportunity to celebrate holidays on board, including Christmas, New Year and more, according to a press release.
The celebrations will extend to the ports of Koh Samui, Phuket and Laem Chabang (Bangkok) in Thailand, to the ports of Danang/Hue, Phu My (Ho Chi Minh City) and Nha Trang in Vietnam, as well as to Penang, Port Klang and Langkawi in Malaysia.
With round-trip sailings from Yokohama, the Diamond Princess will visit 35 destinations in three countries. To this end, the cruise line has scheduled two repositioning cruises to Singapore.
A 15-day trip from Yokohama, arriving in Singapore on December 16, 2023, with stops in Osaka, Toba, Keelung (Taipei), Hong Kong, Da Nang, Nha Trang and Phu My (Ho Chi Minh City), and a 13-day cruise to Yokohama on March 5, 2024, arriving on March 18, 2024, at the start of the Diamond Princess's 2024 Japan season and the cherry blossom season in Japan.
There are 31 unique itineraries with 36 departure dates. In addition, the first Royal-class ship to sail in the region, the Royal Princess, will make its debut in Japan in 2024.
To celebrate these milestones and the upcoming launch of the Sun Princess, travel lovers from Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia can enter the “All You Love” contest from October 30 to December 31, 2023.
The prize includes 9,000 Singapore dollars, round-trip economy class airfare, and a seven-night Sun Princess cruise in a balcony cabin, visiting European locations and the Mediterranean coast of Italy, Greece, Spain, and Montenegro.
